  Experienced Support Professional required to join the allied resource team in supporting the requirements of our client sites. This role will encompass holiday cover, sickness cover and project requirements as and when required. The role is ideally suited to individuals who enjoy the challenges of various client locations, field work and who can work independently. The individual should have a relevant proven background and possess Microsoft accreditations. Hardware accreditations would be an advantage particularly IBM accreditation. A strong desire to succeed with good communications skills and good customer facing skills are required for this position.

Support Professional/IT Administrator Permanent
  This is a role is for an experienced support professional who can act as the single point of contact for all IT related issues on this site in Dublin. The role requires a support professional who can deal with a wide range of IT and technical support issues as well as the administrative tasks associated with the IT infrastructure of this office. The person needs to be self reliant and be able to work on his/her own with guidance from the IT department in London. There will be no other IT staff on site, hence the role requires a well versed individual who can perform the entire range of IT related tasks that would in other situations be expected of an Regional IT Manager or a Junior Service Delivery Manager. Strong admin and technical documentation skills would be required initially and the ability to work with a third party maintenance company.

  Allied Worldwide Limited is a global IT services company working with clients in the media/ entertainment, finance & automotive industry. You will gain a permanent position with Allied and be contracted to a major automotive company based in Bedfordshire. This excellent opportunity has arisen to join a small team of 1st/2nd Line Technical Support Analysts on the company's internal helpdesk. You will be responsible for your own call queue; logging calls, diagnosing problems and providing advice & guidance on technical issues by telephone & email. You will take calls from 3 UK offices and provide some remote support to European sites. The requirements for this role are: sound knowledge and fault resolution of Win 2000/XP; Office; Outlook, helpdesk, telephone system and videoconferencing knowledge is beneficial. This would ideally suit a candidate that is looking to build on the experience already gained within an IT environment and undertake a challenging position working as part of a team meeting business requirements on site. An excellent telephone manner is a must. This role is an excellent stepping stone to a much wider career path and you will have exposure to the latest technologies.
