We are looking to recruit a self motivated and dynamic individual
to join one of our teams based at a client site in Birmingham. You will need to
have a proven track record in a similar role and demonstrate your experience of
working in both a team environment as well as on your own initiative.We are
looking for someone who has a broad range of skills as they will become a
member of a team that supports the desktop and infrastructure globally in an
environment of 750+ users operating out of 40 worldwide offices.

The responsibilities and skill-sets should include, but are not limited to the
following:

Daily Infrastructure Checks
|
| – |
Investigate/troubleshoot and resolve day to day problems with MetaFrame
environment
|
| – |
Plan and undertake changes to MetaFrame environment via scripted/automated
Altiris jobs
|
| – |
Install and test new applications as required by the business via scripted/
automated Altiris jobs
|
| – |
Manage and control weekly releases to MetaFrame environment
|
| – |
Monitor & resolve MOM alerts for MetaFrame environment
|
| – |
Altiris Deployment Solution for server & application builds
|
|
|
|
| |
The experience and skill-sets should include the following:
|
|
|
|
3 Years+ Windows 2000/3
|
|
3 Years+ Citrix (MetaFrame/Presentation Server) in a large environment
|
|
2 Years+ VBScript
|
|
Experience of ITIL V3 practices would be considered an added advantage
|
|
