Employee Events

Ongoing events provide a rich environment for Allied employees to exchange knowledge, celebrate accomplishments and socialize with colleagues. The recently concluded event - aspire@allied was aimed at collaboration, creation and communication.

On May 5, 2006 Managers and Directors at Allied Worldwide got together for the Management Day. Our CEO, Richard Skellett clarified at the outset that this event was an extension of Aspire@Allied in January 2006. He reiterated that we were striving to change the way we communicated - but never the purpose, the values, the principles, of Allied Worldwide. We had assembled to partake what Change Management guru John Hemmingway and his team were going to share with us.

The integral transformation initiative was taken to the next level and all participants joined the journey to move towards building a strong and adaptive culture.

John Hemmingway cited examples of organisations like Sterling Bank & ANZ Bank who had achieved success owing to cultural transformation. Organisational alignment of values where everyone has the same values, according to him is the key to success. Common values lead to a strong, positive motivation.

And along the way, by initiating each of these challenging steps, we hope to work with others towards change, and create the desired result -- the inclusive, cohesive, productive organisation reaching new levels of excellence in performance and significance.
